Dr David Lipkin
Medical Director

Dr David Lipkin is a Consultant Cardiologist at The Wellington Hospital. He trained at the London Chest, Royal Brompton, National Heart and Hammersmith Hospitals in London. Dr Lipkinā€™s role as the Medical Director at Wellington Diagnostics & Outpatient Centre means that all clinical work undertaken at the centre is overseen by one of the most well respected and experienced medical practitioners in the UK.

Dr Lipkin has a passion for working amongst community services and is keen to ensure that the locality of Golders Green is able to access excellent Primary and Secondary care services on its doorstep hence his drive to open the centre back in 2007. Outside of medicine Dr Lipkin is a family man and enjoys his limited time away from work with his wife and children.


Dr Roger Wolman
Associate Medical Director

Dr Wolman is a Consultant in Rheumatology and Sport & Exercise Medicine at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore alongside his private practice at The Wellington Hospital and The Wellington Diagnostics & Outpatient Centre. His role as the Associate Medical Director is focused around the provision of a well rounded musculoskeletal service which involves a truly multi-disciplinary team of medical practitioners who provide a fully fledged pain service in the heart of North West London.

Dr Wolman was the first doctor to be appointed to the British Olympic Medical Centre when it opened in 1987 and was also the first Doctor to be appointed as a Consultant in Sports Medicine in the NHS in 1994. Dr Wolman has a special interest in Dancers having worked with several dance companies including the Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet and Rambert Dance Company.


Professor Pierre-Marc Bouloux
Clinical Governance Chairman

Professor Bouloux has been the Professor of Neuroendocrinology at The University College Medical School, UCL since 1991. He trained at St Bartholomew's Hospital as is a widely published consultant in the Endocrinology field of medicine.

He is responsible for the direct leadership and supervision of clinical procedures and services at The Wellington Diagnostics & Outpatient Centre and is well supported by a multi-functional governance team.

Professor Bouloux is fluent in several European languages and some Arabic, Italian and German. Outside of work Professor Bouloux enjoys watching sports and certainly any opportunity to do a little travel is never far away.


Ursula Stiemert
Operational Manager

Ursula joined The Wellington Diagnostics & Outpatients Centre back in May 2007. Her role is essential to the success of the centre as she is responsible for the daily management of all staff within the facility, and the clinical standards required, maintaining our private healthcare services in Golders Green.

Ursula was born in Zimbabwe and qualified as a Midwife in Cape Town and a Theatre Nurse in Namibia, deciding to take up a career in the UK in Management. In her spare time Ursula likes to travel, socialise and keep fit.
